Oscar Valentin Gonzalez Zuniga, de 10 años, falleció mientras estaba de vacaciones en México el domingo 18 de septiembre de 2022. Nació en Odessa, TX el sábado 19 de mayo de 2022 de Arnold Gonzalez y Jazmine Valentina Zuniga.

Oscar era un chico humilde con muchos amigos que tenía la sonrisa más grande. Amaba mucho a sus hermanos y hermanas. Le encantaba correr y era muy rápido. El béisbol era su deporte y jugaba como segunda base y era un lanzador increíble. Quería ser como Joey Gallo y jugar béisbol de la MLB. Siguió a Joey a todos los equipos en los que jugó y siempre decía que cuando tuviera éxito le compraría a mamá el auto de sus sueños. Su color favorito era azul. Oscar disfrutó de los videojuegos y jugar Fortnite con sus amigos, además de montar a caballo en el rancho. También disfrutaba andar en cuatrimotos con su papá. Su canción favorita era «Ya Superame» de Grupo Firme. Le encantaban las alitas y la carne seca y manzanas con chamoy. Era el niño más dulce que había existido y muchos lo amaban.

Los que quedan para atesorar su amor y memoria son sus padres: Arnold Gonzalez y Jazmine Zuniga, ambos de Odessa; abuelos paternos: Dulces y Reyes González de Odessa; abuela materna: Arecelia Galindo de Odessa; abuelastra: Elizabeth Pantoja; padrastro: Jorge Pantoja Jr.; hermanos: Isaías González, Jorge Pantoja II y Julián Pantoja, todos de Odessa; hermanas: Alaina Gonzalez, Jazlynn Gonzalez y Kay-Lee Gonzalez, todas de Odessa; y numerosos familiares y amigos.

Le precedieron en la muerte su abuelo materno: Oscar Zúñiga; Jorge Pantoja Sr. y tío: Efrayn Gonzalez.

El velorio comenzará en Acres West 24 Hour Chapel el domingo 25 de septiembre de 2022 a las 8:00 am. El rosario se recitará a las 7:00 pm el lunes 26 de septiembre en Acres West 24 Hour Chapel.

La misa de cristiana sepultura está pendiente en este momento y se actualizará lo antes posible.

Le seguirá el entierro en la sección Rose Hill Gardens del cementerio del condado de Ector.

Oscar Valentin Gonzalez Zuniga, age 10, passed away while vacationing in Mexico on Sunday, September 18, 2022. He was born in Odessa, TX on Saturday, May 19, 2022 to Arnold Gonzalez and Jazmine Valentina Zuniga.

Oscar was a humble boy with many friends who had the biggest smile. He loved his brothers and sisters very much. He loved to run and was very fast. Baseball was his sport and he played second baseman and was an awesome pitcher.

He wanted to be like Joey Gallo and play MLB baseball. He followed Joey to all the teams he played for and would always say that when he was a success he would buy his mom the car of her dreams. His favorite color was blue. Oscar enjoyed video games and playing Fortnite with his friends, as well as riding horses at the ranch. He also enjoyed riding 4 wheelers with his dad. His favorite song was «Ya Superame» by de Grupo Firme. He loved wings and carne seca y manzanas con chamoy. He was the sweetest kid ever and was loved by many.

Those left to cherish his love and memory are his parents: Arnold Gonzalez and Jazmine Zuniga, both of Odessa; paternal grandparents: Dulces and Reyes Gonzalez of Odessa; maternal grandmother: Arecelia Galindo of Odessa; step grandmother: Elizabeth Pantoja; step dad: Jorge Pantoja Jr.; brothers: Isaiah Gonzalez, Jorge Pantoja II, and Julian Pantoja, all of Odessa; sisters: Alaina Gonzalez, Jazlynn Gonzalez and Kay-Lee Gonzalez, all of Odessa; and numerous extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather: Oscar Zuniga; step grandfather: Jorge Pantoja Sr. and uncle: Efrayn Gonzalez.
Visitation will begin at Acres West 24 Hour Chapel on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at 8:00 am. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Monday, September 26th at Acres West 24 Hour Chapel.

Mass of Christian Burial is pending at this time and will be updated as soon as possible. It will be followed by burial at Rose Hill Gardens section of Ector County Cemetery.
